I've had these damn window planters for over a year now (at least.) I've been wanting to plant flowers in them but I've never planted flowers myself..no idea what would be the appropriate flower in that area- half sun half shade.
While I was at JoAnn's with my mom and nana, I was telling my nana howI've been meaning to plant flowers in my planter boxes. She suggests faux flowers. You are probably thinking "don't be cheap, Erynn!" However, this is a great idea in my opinion! *insert lightbulb* No maintenance, no watering, no dying flowers that keep having to be replaced & replanted, saves me time & saving some mulah- seems like the perfect flower! Hey, plus it's saving water (and other resources)- woot go green baby! haha ok maybe I am pushing it but whatever.
