it's hard to believe

Look how young everyone looked when Patrick & I started dating. I was taller than my BIL in the middle and now he towers over me!
As you probably already know/read.. Patrick and I dated 6 years before we finally got married. One downfall of meeting so young I guess.. but we never broke up once.
Not one single time. We made it through our last couple years of high school and all throughout separate colleges, somehow. We were only able to celebrate 2 wedding anniversaries together and I kept thinking to myself that I couldn't wait until we hit the 10 year mark... even if it were just the 10 year 'dating' mark. I always joked with him that I didn't want to be one of those couples that said "we've been together 20 years but married for 5." Huh? Why did you wait so long? Took ya 15 years to figure out you wanted to marry her? So for us it was, together for 8 and married for 2.
2010 would have been our 10th year together.

I just started reading your blog and I am so inspired by you. You are so strong and I can not imagine how you must feel. Your children are beautiful and you really are inspirational to other women. I'm sorry you are going through this hard time, but you sound like a wonderful mom who is surrounded by wonderful people :-) Keep "rollin" foward!

Incredible photo - the effect of the water spray is stunning. What a wonderful keepsake.

Thinking of you and sending you hugs! It's so unfair...
