and although she doesn't even want anyone saying "happy birthday" to her today, I wanted to acknowledge her birthday. She is 50 today and it's a special day, even considering the circumstances. We plan on celebrating in a month or two from now. I love you Debi! xoxo

We lost Marc's brother right around my FIL's birthday and he did quit celebrating it for a while but in time it did get better and now he spends it with all his grandkids!!!
You guys have a long haul ahead of you but my family is proof that with time things get better. You guys have so many prayers with you!!!

I won't say happy birthday, but I will be thinking it. And I would like to tell your MIL what fabulous sons she raised. She and your FIL did an amazing job and I admire her greatly.
