Today is my father-in-law's 55th birthday. Debi went to Steamboat for his birthday since he L-O-V-E-D it up there. She wanted to be somewhere he would want to be on his birthday. I wish I could have accompanied her but it's still just too hard to muscle up the courage to go. I hope Bill and Patrick are celebrating together with ice cold Coronas topped with limes in hand.

I miss your smile, your jokes, your pranks, your stories (even if they were exaggerated), your advice and I even miss you stealing bites or hiding my food when I wasn't looking.
Most of all I miss hearing you chant "Grandpa's Boy" to Will as you sway him back and forth in the air as a huge smile appeared on his face. I miss everything.
