2 months til Halloween

and I've been racking my brain as to what I can dress my kids in. I have it stuck in my head that they have to be coordinating. For Will's 1st Halloween he wasn't walking yet but just about to start. I figured I better do whatever I wanted and something over his head while I still could.

I figured this year he'd be telling me what he wanted to dress up as. With 2 months to go before Halloween, I'm thinking I can sneak in one more year of doing whatever I want before he voices his own opinion. I better jump at the opportunity while I can.

Being that it's Reese's 1st Halloween,
I want the same for her... something around the face.
When I came across this, I laughed as I pictures her cheeks in the middle of this flower.
but what the hell boy costume goes with this?
I even stooped to the level of googling
"watering can costume".
My attempt to find a "coordinating" costume for Will.

However,  I did find this

but I just can't decide if a "bee" is too girly?
Whenever I show him this photo he goes "beeeeeeee"
So cute.
Just not sure if he will tolerate something on the head, again.
Any ideas/thoughts/opinions?

Love it. With Emma I got the first 2 years, and then she was in total control. I say take advantage of it while you can :)

^ omg I am laughing at the thought of him "beating me up". I can't wait til he is older, taller than me and messes around with me.

I love the flower idea for your little girl. I think a frog would be a cute outfit for Will that would go well with a flower costume, and it's not girly at all. That or some kind of bug, like a caterpillar.

I don't think the bee is too girly. Tori Spelling dressed her son up as a bee last year and her daughter was a ladybug. I only know this because there were pictures in her book.

I didn't think L would tolerate another around his face this year but I tries his costume on him and he seemed totally fine!

So cute! I don't think that a bee is too girly - my mom dressed my little brother up as a bee one year.

My neice was both a bee and a lion! The bee costume she had was nice because you could untie the part around their head but it was still attached to the costume so mom doesn't have to hold on to it. I don't think a bee is too girly! Go for it girl!!!

Erynn, you sooo have to do the Bee! That is the perfect coordinate for Reese's flower! And her cheeks are going to be freakin adorable in the flower!! Do it!

I love the idea of the flower and the Bee! That's sooo cute!! I was looking on costume express, I'm sure that's where you found the flower, cause I know it's there...but I was thinking if you could find a wolf, you could put Reese in a pig costume, they have a really cute one, and him in a wolf! That would be cute too!! They have soo many cute costumes! I'm sure no matter what they're in they'll look adorable!!!

The flower is adorable, it will look so cute on Reese. I was going to suggest a bee costume for Will. I don't think it too girly at all! They will be super cute and go togtether prefectly.

Love the costume ideas! I think a bee is totally cool for a boy, especially with a boy modeling it. I'm still wracking my brain on what to dress Aerowyn as. I want to do some type of tutu costume so I can make her another tutu, but can't figure out what Robert and I can be to coordinate.

Did you see the garden gnome costume?

I was all about the bee for Will until I saw Bren's suggestion above for the garden gnome.

Please make him a garden gnome!!!

Wow both are great! I think the bee goes well with the flower costume! can't wait for the pics!

he would never wear that beard that goes with the gnome, but cute idea!

I think both costumes are so sweet and both of your babies will look oh so adorable in what ever you choose to go with!
Can't wait to see what you come up with!

The Garden Gnome would be a riot! (but I suspect the beard would pose a problem) What about dressing him in overalls and having him be the farmer? I think that no matter what they'll be completely adorable! (and yes, take advantage of being able to decide *for* them..... too soon they'll have their own opinions!)

I love the bee! If he won't wear the head thingy, you can always make antennae attached to a headband thingy... ? Whatever you do will be adorable, of course!

That flower costume is very cute, and Isabel is going to be a bee (that particular bee too, if that's from Old Navy)

It does lean towards the girly side, but i'm sure you can "macho" it up!

Bee and flower would be cute. Maybe Raggedy Ann and Andy. That's all I can come up with right now. Good luck.
