Will was about 8 months old...
sitting up, crawling, eating sand...
but couldn't enjoy the waves just yet.
so we often hung out on the sand, just the 3 of us...
and watched daddy make funny faces...
so mommy could trying to get a shot like this...
to show off his 2 and only 2 teeth.
then daddy got behind the camera...
to finally capture some photos with me IN them.
but how can we leave out a sleeping baby on a proud grandpa.
We just returned from a week at a new beach house location.
What a difference a year makes. Will had so much fun.
Reese? Well, she was in the same position Will was last year.
Maybe next year, Reese!
I, on the other hand, kept visualizing Patrick digging giant holes, building sand castles and teaching Will how a body board works.
Why can't he be here for all of this?

as hard as it is, I think it SO great you have kept the same traditions and go to the same places you always went. Since I've known you you guys have always gone to beach in August, only this time you actually had cell service! great pictures, Miss you haven"t chatted in a bit. xoxo

I Love the pictures of you and will on the beach especially!! BECAUSE my kids are now 19,17 and 12 and I think I can remember a handful with me actually in them! I am now single and just this year at photos done professionally with me and all of them---they are great!! Please do that for yourself in the years to come--you wont regret it!!!
