- LOVE his family! I pretty much gave up on the possibility of finding someone with a family just as great as the Rooneys. I got lucky, twice.
- pretty amazing when you think the perfect person for your situation doesn't exist then God pops him right into your life
- timing is everything and there is no timeline
- he proposed in February in front my entire family and his parents
- getting married in 6 months

You don't have to answer this if you think I'm overstepping, but I'm curious...how does Patrick's family feel about everything? My guess is that they are insanely happy for you and want you to be happy, but at the same time their hearts ache a bit. Your situation is so unique.

I definitely recommend it! For me- it was a great option. I am young, with two young kids, widowed, it's not an easy situation. It weeded out all the guys who weren't willing to take that one and left me with the ones who potentially were. I went on a few dates with different guys (mind you, I haven't dated at all in my adult life since Patrick and I met at 16.) I don't look at like I paid to find a husband. It's not like I mail ordered him. There is no guarantee... but it could happen!
I think of it like this- you pay a cover charge to get into a bar or nightclub and you could potentially meet someone there... you pay to get all dressed up and ready to go to those places.. so why not? I don't go out to bars/clubs so where was I going to meet someone? I definitely wasn't going to wait around for a friend to set me up either. Nothing to lose!
