being a mom...

is something I knew I always wanted to be. I pictured myself with 2 boys and a girl. When I became pregnant with Will I was hoping for a boy. I really wanted to give Patrick a son. Luckily, Will cooperated! When I found out I was pregnant with Reese, I was hoping for a boy again. I knew my kids would be 14 months apart and I pictured 2 boys being the best of buds. When the US tech revealed Reese was a girl I was of course thrilled. One of each, done and done!

Being a mom to Will & Reese is the most challenging yet rewarding job I've ever had. Being a single mom to 2 young kids is no easy task but the bond we share is something that can't be touched. I'm thankful for my two, healthy, thriving babies who forced me to put one foot in front of the other the past 2.5 years. They got me to where I am today. My beautiful, supportive, generous, selfless, kind-hearted mom also plays a huge part. She has taught me well. She has set the standard of the kind of mother I strive to be. Without her, I would be a lost.hot.mess.

Thank you mom, from the bottom of my heart, for being you. For being the best mom, Mimi, mentor and friend to me, W&R. I love you!
