Last year we played in our very first couples fantasy football league with a bunch of friends. We rescheduled our draft day about 3 different times to accommodate everyone's schedules. Finally we set a day that worked for everyone. Although Patrick was working in Alaska, we had planned to be on the phone together so he could instruct me who to draft. Well, he went fishing instead and didn't call until hours after the draft! While I love football, I don't know what each position does or who the hell to draft for our fantasy team. While I was freaking and stressing out over who to draft I managed to do it on my own... and who do you think came out on top at the end of the season? The Channel 4 News Team! {us} Playing FF was a ton of fun, especially for our competitive natures. Come the weekend, I found myself double checking our starting players, making sure no one was injured and everyone was ready to go. If he put in a player who didn't produce for our team, I second guessed him and gave him a hard time until the following Sunday. I couldn't wait to play again this year but without him, I don't think I could keep up on it on my own with the kids. I'm sure I would totally forget to bench hurt players or non-starters. So, for this season anyway, I will just stick to watching or attending the games.

Monday Memories: FOOTBALL!
I love sports but I especially L-O-V-E football season. College or Pro, I don't care. Too bad LA doesn't have a team. How can LosFreakingAngeles not have a professional football team? My family had season tickets to the Rams when they were an LA team so the Rams are my team, although I should be embarrassed to admit that publicly.

I love Football! And while I don't do FF myself, my DH is obsessed with it.
And as far as the Rams go...more than likely, they will be making a return to LA in the next couple years because their contract is up with STL. And you guys can have 'em! GO BRONCOS!!!

Ahhh I love football too...ok...so you guys MAY have won....BUT...who had the MOST points at the end of the season...I believe it was the Smokin Aces...oh yeah...that was our team :) I will share a fun little memory too..remember that one night we were over at your house and our team was playing yours...Patrick was sweatin! We were so close in points and he kept running over and checking the computer to see where the points were...it was hilarious...I don't remember who ended up winning that night, but it was hilarious to watch him and H talking smack back and forth :) hehe xoxo

This is my first year doing FF and I'm having a blast! DH is in another league than me, but we still compete against eachother - I'm totally killing him too! Love the Channel 4 News team! That's one of my favorite movies!
